I would like to add my name to the chorus of disappointed fans of the cranberry-ginger bars. They were the only Nature’s Path granola bars that we liked and are verry sorry to hear they were discontinued. While I understand that even companies devoted to producing products using only high quality organic ingredients need to make a profit, nevertheless I cannot help but lose some respect for a company that discontinues a superior product simply because it did not meet sales expectations. Neither can I believe that the hemp or the pumpkin outsold the cranberry-ginger. I frankly expected better from Nature’s Path but will be sure to temper my expectations in the future.

Like many others I was so disappointed to find that my favorite Cranberry Ginger granola bars had been discontinued. I loved them!!!. I do not like the pumpkin. I do not like bars with berries in them. I just tried the Lotta Apricotta and I do not care for it either. Please bring back the Cranberry Ginger ones! The spot on the grocery shelf reserved for them was often empty, while there were plenty of the other kinds always available. I have found bars by other companies that I like better than the others you now produce, but I do not like them as well as the Cranberry Ginger ones.

Hi there,
I’ve tried some of your products and really liked it. currently, I’m working at Asia-related trading company and was wondering if your company would like to invest in Asia. There are big markets, and people’s demand for healthy products are getting larger. I can’t believe why nature’s path’s products are only available in canada and us .. :(

I would like to add my name to the list of customers let down by Nature’s Path decision to discontinue the Cranberry Ginger granola bars. I too have a hard time believing they didn’t meet sales expectations because I would also have to hit several grocery stores before finding my beloved product. And seriously, pumpkin? You really believe that’s a fair trade off???

What a shame. Much like the many other people who have commented on this page I truly miss the Cranberry-Ginger bars you had sold, and I can’t believe that there were problems with sales (I routinely had to stop at three grocery stores in order to find one that wasn’t sold out). The current Nature’s Path line leaves me with no dairy-free or peanut-free choices, and I now find myself without a granola bar option other than homemade.

Thank you for your e-mail, and I will certainly give the Chococonut bars a try. But I should have been clearer in my original post; Nature’s Path doesn’t have any dairy and nut-free granola bars available that I’d want to put in my mouth again. The Hemp bars are terribly bitter, and the Pumpkin one’s taste like… well pumpkin. ;)
Nothing will replace the Cranberry-Ginger bars, but I truly do appreciate the many choices you offer to people like me who try very hard to only put good things in our bodies. Thank you.

Why do your bars have to have so much sugar? I wish I could find an organic granola bar with 6g sugar or less. It can be a little sweet - but these are like candy bars!!!

If you are searching for a dairy free granola bar, I would suggest checking out our Pumpkin-N-Spice Granola Bar, Sunny Hemp Granola Bar, Peanut Choco Granola Bar, Peanut Buddy Granola Bar, and the Chococonut Granola Bar, all of which do not contain dairy as an ingredient. I hope this helps. Best, Emily, Brand Ambassador, Maple Pecan Maven

Berry Strawberry Yogurt Bars-
These are not shown as gluten free although I don’t see any ingredients that have gluten and you don’t share the equipment with gluten so I don’t understand. Oats are fine as long as they are organic, they are only problematic when the field has been previously planted with wheat- which you cannot do in a real organic oat.

Submitted by Kyla on June 29, 2010 - 12:12.
Hey Carla, thanks for writing to us. Our Granola Bars are not gluten free due to the inclusion of oats. It seems that the protein in oats does not do the damage, but the concern is the possibility of cross contamination of a gluten containing grain in the field or during the milling process. At this time in North America, most oats are not acceptable in a gluten free diet- regardless of whether they are organic or not. We do offer many products that are gluten free, please check them out at http://www.naturespath.com/eat-well/gluten-free-celiac-diet Best, Kyla, Brand Ambassador, Gorilla Munch Addict

I am just as upset as Caroline, I have lots of allergies too and I LOVED the cranberry ginger bars, the pumpkin flax really just aren’t as good and the flax is giving them a slightly fishy taste. You SCREWED up. Please bring them back, they were a lot tastier than your new (and smaller, we noticed) line. I know ingredients probably are getting expensive, but I’d pay more for the bars if you brought them back. Fail.

As a fan of our granola bars, you’ve probably noticed some changes. Our packaging, recipe and even names have changed. And there’s also a couple of new ones. I thought you might want to hear about them. There’s a delicious new granola bar we call “Berry Strawberry” and we have feedback from people like you to thank for it. Real strawberries & raspberries, a yogurt coating, all with the good stuff of flax like fibre and Omega 3’s. You might like to know, too, that our new boxes save thousands of gallons of water and tons of waste, as compared to our old ones. How so? We managed to make them a third smaller. Think of it as 35 less cars on the road, every year. So what do you think of them? Try some and let us know – We’d love to hear from you! Rosy, Head of Granola Bars at Nature’s Path Organic Foods
